Feng Shui Is The Way; To Better Health, Love, & Finances
Feng shui is an ancient Chinese art form used to create greater health, wealth, and happiness. This improved wellness through feng shui is created by organizing an environment in a way that enhances the flow of life force, or chi. Chi is life-giving energy that binds our body, mind, and spirit. Through this art of placement, feng shui provides a space that allows chi to flow most naturally. There are many techniques for enhancing the energy flow in an environment; one way is through five elements – wood, fire, earth, metal, and water. In fact, feng shui literally translates to “wind and water.”
It can be confusing trying to figure out where to start when it comes to cultivating good Feng Shui in your home. What rooms should you begin with? How do you start fresh or what do you do if a room is already decorated?
When it comes to Feng Shui around money in relation to your home:
- The front door is a big first impression and really sets the tone. Make sure the entrance to your home is appealing. Your doorbell should not be broken and you want to make sure that the number on your home is visible so abundance can find you.
- Fix any leaks in your home as they represent financial leaks. Keeping your home well in tune will support your financial stability and growth.
- Always close your toilet seat lid. Similar to leaks, the toilet represents leaks in your finance. It also represents flushing things away; you don’t want money to be one of those things. So always keep the lid closed so your finances are protected and you can attract more abundance.
- When it comes to the art on the wall, you should prioritize and have pictures of flowing water, running horses, or moving boats in your home because images represent flow and abundance.
When it comes to the Feng Shui around health and your home:
- When picking a bed frame, opt for wood. Metal can affect sleep cycles and attracts electromagnetic waves from technology.
- Clean out clutter. It’s important to keep your living space clear of unnecessary stuff. Think of your house like your mind.
- Invest in a great mattress! Sleep is so important and we spend half our lives in bed. Make sure it is one that works with your back and allows for deep sleep and rest.
- Keep your surroundings with soft calming colors. Earth tones and neutrals are best. No harsh bright colors.
- Make sure the air flow is good in your living space. Plants for air purifying, fans to move energy, and air flow throughout the house.
When it comes to Feng Shui and love within the home:
- Always make sure to get rid of flowers when they die. Representation of spirit and relationships.
- Candles are great for ambiance and for the clean scent of your home and bedroom.
- Bed linens should be crisp, clean, and light in color.
- Meditate daily to clear your mind. A clear home, and a clear mind is what we are going for.
- Put roses on your bedside to call in and create a loving environment in the bedroom. They are a form of calling in love.
- Reserve the bedroom for sleeping and sex- no paperwork or working in the bedroom.
In the end, practicing gratitude for your space and your home is priceless. Create a space you are proud of. A place to come home to, that makes you feel light, clear, happy, centered, and content. After all, Your space is a representation of YOU.
