When it comes to our morning routine, we like to pull out all the stops! Somedays are definitely different than others but when we have the time, we want to truly take the time, make the most, and enjoy an intentional healing morning routine. We couldn’t do this of course without some of our absolute favorite products and brands that make it that much more seamless.
Here are a few of our must-haves for our TCR morning routine ✨
Breville -the Juice Fountain® Plus
Juicing is a must in our everyday morning routine! We love starting the morning with our go-to green juice recipe-celery, cucumber, ginger, and lemon. It has helped our digestion immensely, not to mention our overall health and skin.
We understand juicing isn’t accessible to everyone, especially when traveling, so another option we like to incorporate is a green juice powder. One of our favorites is Athletic Greens, which is also a great option when you’re on the go!
TCR Cashew Barista Milk
Not to be dramatic, but this recipe changed our life. We were tired of trying every single milk alternative and reading the packaging to find out it’s full of fillers, gums, and oils. We searched and searched for barista milk for our coffee that actually foams, tastes good, and is good for us but didn’t find one that we absolutely loved. We went to the kitchen and made it ourselves.
Once you guys try this, you’re going to be addicted… here’s the recipe!
Blend together
1 cup cold water
2 heaped tbsp nut butter of choice (cashew is the best)**
2 medjool dates or 2 tsp honey
Splash of vanilla extract
Store in the fridge for 3 days! (If you don’t drink it all in one sitting) 🤤
** check the ingredients of your nut butter and make sure there is no added sugar or oils!
Stainless Steel Tongue Scraper
You might have heard of using a copper tongue scrapper, which is also great for you! But we prefer stainless steel because the copper tongue scrapers tend to oxidize pretty quickly if not properly stored and cleaned, while stainless steel really lasts forever!
Ayurveda holds that the tongue shares a direct connection to several of the body’s vital organs, including the heart, kidneys, liver, lungs, spleen, and stomach. What’s more, Ayurveda teaches that the tongue reflects the health and well-being of these organs, so regularly inspecting the tongue is an excellent way to gauge your overall health.
Our bodies are constantly exposed to toxins from our food, beverages, and the environment; even our own metabolic wastes and unresolved emotions can lead to toxicity. When toxins are not properly digested and eliminated, they accumulate in the body and begin to compromise our well-being and immunity. Tongue scraping is one preliminary measure to take in clearing your body from the unwanted buildup of toxins.

Ice Facial
We are huge believers in ice facials! We use a circular ice mold and massage it over our faces in the morning. The goal is to keep doing passes over your entire face until you are rosy and flush. This means the blood is circulating and gives your skin that glowy, dewy complexion. We like to leave the remaining water on our face for our skin to soak up for extra hydration. After the water has dried, apply your serums and the rest of your skincare. This will also allow for your products to absorb 10x better. It’s also an amazing makeup primer.
Moleskin Lined Journal
Finding a journal you love can be hard to find! We have been journaling for years now, and we are definitely guilty of finding journals and using them for a couple of weeks, then starting a new one because we fall out of love with them. That’s why we now stick to the classic, good-quality journals.
Moleskin paper products have been around forever! For good reason. The quality is amazing, you can travel the work with it and know it’s going to last. They have so many colors, and the quality of the paper is really nice to write on.
Hailey used a moleskin journal for her Yoga Teacher Training and now uses them for her morning journal as well. Moleskin offers so many different colors and sizes. Definitely, a must-have!

Mala Beads
Hailey did her yoga teacher training in June, and one thing that she incorporated in her meditation was mala beads – we highly recommend getting mala beads to help you with your concentration. Hailey bought her beads at a boutique in Santa Theresa, but you can find mala beads everywhere! Etsy has really great options – just do your best to find a seller that is creating them with love and choose the mala you feel most called to!
